My name is Jasmine and I am going to Ghana in April with Wheels for the World to minister to those with disabilities in this West African country. We will distribute wheelchairs, speak and teach at various venues on disability issues, as well as work on accessibility construction projects. We will also be sharing Christ’s love in small towns, remote villages, health care facilities, churches and schools. I leave the U.S. on the 5th and will be back by the 19th. I will need to raise about $3200.00 for transportation, housing, meals and snacks. I will be using this blog to update my friends, family and supporters about my progress as I raise funds, and prepare for this task. I hope to update daily while in Ghana, and even if I do not have internet access I will be journaling while there and will upload all my stories and pictures once I return.
The name of the blog comes from the distance from my home in Arizona to the capital of Ghana, Accra.
I hope you enjoy following my journey!

Hi Jasmine! I ran across your blog when I searched Ghana and WFTW on Google. I am praying about going in October, so I would love to hear about your trip once you have rested and might have a minute to send me an email! Thanks!
